Australian Maritime Safety Authority
The AMSA is the federal agency responsible for the co-ordination of all rescues at sea in the Australian area.
Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol
The people in the RVCP perform a wonderful service to all the water users in the area. They are all volunteers and deserve all the support they can get.
Australian Volunteer Coast Guard
Although the Coast Guard does not have a base in the Marine Watch Zones this group of volunteers also perform a wonderful service. All recreational mariners get the benefit of the AVCG.

Australian Weather
This Australian Bureau of Meteorology site provides weather data and forecasts for most areas likely to interest mariners in Australian Waters.  Forecasts, synoptic charts, satellite imagery and data on Australian weather are all available. An excellent starting point for weather discovery.
NSW Coastal Weather
New South Wales coastal forecasts are available from this page of the Bureau of Meteorology web site.
Weather Resources - Fishnet Australia
The fishnet site contains links to satellite weather data . It also contains information on tides, ocean forecasts, sunrise/sunset and moon phases.

This is the official site and it contains useful information for boaties and the average citizen

The web site for that very informative and free monthly magazine full of interesting boating information - deals mainly with the Sydney scene.

A site for those wishing to buy boat items online. There is a huge catalogue of parts from a good range of manufacturers
NSW BOA
The Boat Owners Association of NSW is an organisation which tries to ensure that all boat owners get value for money paid for various fees to the NSW Government. Although predominantly Sydney based the BOA will act on any issue where a boat owner is being unfairly treated - especially by the bureaucracy.

Australian Hydrographic Service
The RAN Australian Hydrographic Service is the Commonwealth Government agency responsible for the publication and distribution of nautical charts and other information required for the safety of ships navigating in Australian waters. It is also the Australian Defence Force (ADF) agency responsible for the provision of operational surveying support and maritime Military Geographic Information (MGI) for ADF operations and excercises.
Shoalhaven Marine Rescue Association
This organisation provides marine Search and Rescue (SAR) services for the northern part of the Shoalhaven and fifteen nautical miles to sea, from Jervis Bay in the South to Kiama in the north.
NSW Fisheries
The NSW De[artment of Primary Industries is responsible for Fishing & Aquaculture.  This site has extensive information for both the commercial and recreational fisherman.

WA Marine Neighbourhood Watch
The Western Australia Marine Watch complements the Neighbourhood Watch, Rural Watch and School Watch  initiatives by giving boat owners, water users and associated communities the tools for identifying and reporting suspicious marine activity.
Neighbourhood Watch - Victoria
This site has information about the Neighbourhood Watch program running in Victoria and has tools to help people begin or enhance crime prevention tactics in their area.
